Freshman Tim Quinn Earns USATF All-American Honor
University of Richmond track & field freshman Tim Quinn earned USA Track & Field (USATF) Junior All-America honors by placing eighth in the 5,000m at the USATF National Championships in Columbus, Ohio this past weekend. The meet was run at the Jesse Owens Track & Field Complex on the Ohio State University campus.

Jonathan Molz Named William L. Lumpkin Leadership Award Honoree
University of Richmond senior Jonathan Molz has been named the 2008 recipient of the The William L. Lumpkin Track & Field Leadership Award. The award is presented annually to a senior undergraduate member of the Spiders' track & field team based on outstanding academic and athletic performance, and citizenship.

Sophomore Andrew Benford finished ninth in the 3,000m steeplechase Saturday night.

Benford 9th, Molz 22nd In Steeplechase Saturday At NCAA Regional
Sophomore Andrew Benford turned in an impressive ninth-place finish in the 3,000m steeplechase, while senior Jonathan Molz was 22nd in the same event as the University of Richmond track & field team wrapped up the NCAA East Regional Championship Saturday night in Tallahassee, Fla.
